Our Clinic offers the following:

• Rapid assessment by a trained paediatric clinician
• Immediate testing of blood, urine and stool samples for the most frequent paediatric problems
• Observation and treatment within a child friendly environment

We will come to your baby or child's bedside if they are physically unable to attend the child health clinic or need to be urgently seen.

• Treatment in the patient's own home, if it is safe to do so

We offer urgent advice and support via 'Telemedicine'::

• Telephone support. This is available 24/7 for emergency issues
• Video linkup. We can often give you more appropriate advice and support than can be given via telephone

• Direct care from a Consultant in Paediatric Medicine
• Direct care from a Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner

• Direct link to Paediatric Surgeons

As a child grows, a specially trained paediatric doctor /nurse will check their health and developmental progress (at key time points).

The purposes of the child health screening programme are:

• To pick up any clinical problems early. Often the earlier we pick up problems, the more likely we are to be able to resolve them
• To provide continuity of clinical care. If the same doctor/nurse team is seeing a child over a period of time, the better an insight they have into the child's health needs & developmental issues. We will develop a better 'feel' for what is 'normal' for that child, making it easier for us to detect problems if they become unwell

We provide a comprehensive choice for parents/guardians, including vaccines not normally available in the NHS.

Here is a brief (but not exhaustive) list of vaccines we offer:
